Sing Glory

This is my absolute favorite Christmas stamp in the Annual Inspirations catalog.  It is a hostess rewards stamp set which means that with a qualifying gathering, you can purchase this set for only $8.00.

Both card bases were made with black cardstock.  The glitter paper is from the DCWV glitter stack.  I stamped the focal images on White Daisy card stock.  The one on the left was stamped in Glacier and heat embossed with our silver embossing powder.  The one on the right was stamped in cashmere and embossed with our gold embossing powder.  The silver and gold cording is from Michaels.  The inside sentiment was stamped  in silver and gold and is also include with the stamp set.  The snowflake is a dollar bin stamp from Michaels from years ago.  I really enjoyed making these and I think this is going to be my Christmas card this year to send to family and friends.  I'm not 100% certain though as I don't want to pay the extra postage for the cording.  We'll see.

Well, I hope you like my cards and until the next time, keep on crafting.

Yuletide Greetings

Well I guess I pretty much abandoned my poor blog for awhile.  I have been doing a little crafting though.  Since I last posted, I got the Artfully Sent Cricut cartridge and the Cricut Explore and I used neither on this card, lol.  Hopefully, I will post some things that I made using them soon though.

I just love this stamp set from the current catalog.  It is the Yuletide Greetings set and I think it is probably one of the nicer Christmas stamps we offer this season.  I made the card base and the layers using Colonial White cardstock.  I stamped the focal image using New England Ivy and colored it with our ShinHan Touch Twin alcohol markers.  I used red Glitz (retired) on the holly berries and I used a glue pen to outline the pine branches and added glitter.   I stamped the sentiment using Chocolate ink.  Its a little crooked but, oh well.  I believe the embossing folder is a Cuttlebug folder.  I inked all the edges with the Chocolate ink as well.  I really like how this turned out.  I was inspired by a card I saw on Youtube last year.  I don't remember who posted it now but if it was your card, thanks for the inspiration.

We have some great specials going on right now.  In honor of ten years of making awesome acrylic stamps, you can purchase any stamp set in the Annual Inspirations for $10 with a $50 purchase.

Check out my CTMH website, stamphappygirl.ctmh.com to see what's going on.

Until next time, keep on crafting.
