Here is a quick little card that I created using my Cricut.  I just love how easy it is to create a card by selecting a card base and just adding the layers.  This card was cut from my current favorite cartridge, Art Philosophy.

The card base and layer were cut at 4.25" and the tag was cut at 3".  I believe I cut the butterfly at 2" but I don't remember right now.  The card base and tag are Vanilla cardstock from A*muse.  The paper used for the layer and butterfly are from My Mind's Eye Lime Twist Out of the Blue collection, pearls from Recollections, ink is A*muse French Roast and the stamp is from my stash.  Thanks for stopping by, and until next time, keep on crafting.

This is the Valentine's Day card I made for my husband.  I don't think he looks at my blog so I'm not worried about him seeing this post although it has been lying on my craft room table, so who knows.  Anyway, these papers are so gorgeous that they really didn't need much in terms of embellishment.  I made the card base from A*Muse kraft cardstock.  The patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye Lost and Found Union Square collection.  The twine is from A*Muse and the hearts are cut from the Tags, Bags, Boxes, and More Cricut cartridge.

Birthday Wishes

This is one of the cards we made at my workshop this weekend.  It is a simple design that can be used for any occasion just by changing the sentiment or the color of the cardstock and ink.  In fact, we made this same card during the A*Muse On the Road event last summer only we used kraft cardstock and lemon whip ribbon and ink.  On this version, I used slate cardstock and ink and pebble satin ribbon.  I blinged it up a bit with pearls on the leaves.  The stamps used are from Beautiful Botanicals 2 and Contemporary Greetings.  I apologize for the poor photography but I have been using my iPad to take the picture and then send it directly to my blog.  Unfortunately, there is not much editing capability in that process but boy is it easy.  Anyway, until next time, keep on crafting.

February Spotlight

This is an exciting day.  The new catalog is available online--see the link on the right to view the pdf version.  Click the link to my A*Muse website if you would like to place an order online.  Also, the February Spotlight is up.  Just to refresh your memory, the Spotlight features several stamp sets that are on sale during the current month at 10% off as well as packs of assorted cardstock.  This month's spotlight includes one of our new stamp sets, Floral Duet, as well as Birthday Builders which has been re-released in red rubber.  It was a clear stamp set in the previous catalog.  The cardstock assortment includes two of our new  colors,  Seattle and Lido.  I think the colors in this collection are absolutely gorgeous.  If you would like to purchase any of the spotlight items, I urge you to do so right away because the spotlight sets usually sell out very quickly.  I know you don't want to have to wait for a backorder so go ahead and place your order ASAP.

I received an order of catalogs in the mail today.  If you would like to reserve a copy, send me an email.

One of a Kind

Here's a quick Valentine's Day card that I put together for an upcoming workshop, then I changed my mind--unfortunately, I do that quite often.  The gumball machine and the gumballs were stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with Copics.  The heart in the center of the gumballs is a heart Twinkle Sticker.  It doesn't show up very well in the photograph but it gives the card a nice little touch of bling.  I think it turned out kinda cute.
