Happy Thanksgiving

Nothing crafty to post today, I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.  Take some time today to count your blessings.  I am so thankful for my parents, husband, children, grandchildren, siblings and other family members; good, lifelong friends; good health and all my needs being met.  God has proven over and over again that He is a provider, a healer, and He is our peace. Above all, He is faithful.  As you sit down today to partake of the bounty of His provision, take a moment to thank Him.  Reflect on what's really important.  Perhaps you have had some financial setbacks this year.  Perhaps you have lost a loved one, lost your job, your house.  Rather than focusing on the losses, focus on what you still have; share a testimony of how God has provided, how He made a way when you saw no way.  I promise you, when you start counting your blessings, your problems won't seem so big.  Have a wonderful day and be blessed.

Autumn

Here is another autumn card.  The urge is to create Christmas cards but I really need to slow down and enjoy the moment.  There may be another autumn card or two posted before I start posting Christmas cards.  Besides, I have a harvest stamp set that I haven't used yet.

On this card, I stamped the background by inking up an acrylic block with A Muse Studios pigment ink in wheat.  I used the autumn leaves stamp set and used sponge daubers to ink my stamp in cranberry, pumpkin and papaya.  The sentiment is stamped in french roast.  Enjoy!

Cup of Good Wishes

When I attended the A Muse on the Road event this summer, each consultant was given a really cute stamp set, A Cup of Wishes.  I thought I would take it out and ink it up.  I made a ten minute, clean and simple card.  It took ten minutes because I was trying to fix my boo boo.  If you see it, pretend like you don't.  I really think clean and simple is my style no matter how hard I try to get fancy, LOL.  Anyway, I hope you like it.
